RN – PACU

About This Role

The RN in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Marymount Hospital provides care for post‑surgical patients and assists Anesthesia in the pre‑operative area. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive environment.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Garfield Heights, OH
• Facility: Marymount Hospital
• Schedule: Full‑time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program) required.

• One year of current acute care RN experience required. Will consider military RN experience.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
