RN – Geriatric Psych Unit

About This Role

As an RN in the Geriatric Psych Unit at Marymount Hospital, you will provide exceptional care to patients with mental health and chemical dependency needs. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who thrive in a supportive and diverse environment.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Garfield Heights, OH
• Facility: Marymount Hospital
• Department/Unit: Geriatric Psych Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience:

• One year of current acute care RN experience or military RN experience required.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
