New Grad RN Resident - Med Surg

About This Role

As a New Grad RN Resident in Med Surg, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for new graduates or those with less than one year of RN work experience.

• Pay $33.50 - $53.60/hour
• Location Garfield Heights, OH
• Facility Marymount Hospital
• Schedule Full-time, Day shift

• Assist in delivering exceptional care from initial introduction to final send-off.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
• Supply pertinent healthcare education as needed.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity of need and resource availability.
• Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
• Document patients' medical records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
