About This Role
As a New Grad RN Resident in Med Surg, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional patient care while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for new graduates or those with less than one year of RN work experience.
Highlights- Pay $33.50 - $53.60/hour
- Location Garfield Heights, OH
- Facility Marymount Hospital
- Schedule Full-time, Day shift
- Assist in delivering exceptional care from initial introduction to final send-off.
- Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors to enhance their experience.
- Supply pertinent healthcare education as needed.
- Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
- Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
- Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity of need and resource availability.
- Initiate and/or maintain interventions to assure continuity of safe/effective care for patients.
- Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
- Document patients' medical records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Professional growth through a one-year, accredited Nurse Residency Program
