About This Role

The RN in the Advanced Renal Medical Unit at Marymount Hospital provides exceptional nursing care to patients with complex needs, focusing on med-surg and telemetry foundations while supporting peritoneal dialysis patients. • Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience: One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required. Will consider licensed military RN experience.

  Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross required.
