About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident in the Post Surgical Unit at Cleveland Clinic is an entry-level position designed for recent nursing graduates. This role provides an opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care while participating in a comprehensive residency program.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Garfield Heights, OH
• Facility: Marymount Hospital
• Department/Unit: Post Surgical Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care.
• Interact directly with patients, families, and visitors.
• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when needed.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program) required.

• New grad or less than one year RN work experience required.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
