About This Role

The New Grad RN Resident in the ICU at Marymount Hospital is designed for recent nursing graduates seeking to develop their skills in a high-acuity environment. This role offers a comprehensive residency program that combines hands-on training with professional growth opportunities.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Garfield Heights, OH
• Facility: Marymount Hospital
• Department/Unit: ICU
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
• Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity, preference, and resources.
• Respond to data indicating risk to patients’ health and initiate corrective actions.
• Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document in patients’ medical records.

• Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• BSN: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

• Experience: New grad or less than one year RN work experience
• If experienced, must have less than one year current acute direct patient care RN experience

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS)
