American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Options for 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s available
• Assignment length available for 13 or 20 weeks to provide winter coverage

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel
• One recent reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (Charge RN references accepted)
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment during orientation

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• ECG rhythm recognition and safe Medicate assessments completed during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI background check prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Assignment extensions available for up to 18 consecutive months with a required 6-month break before returning unless approved by the client
