American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift hospital position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

• Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:30pm-7:30am
• Assignment length of 18 weeks, with 13-week options also considered
• Shift options may include 4x12s, 3x12s, or 2x12s

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration, permanent status only
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS, both required and active (not pending)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS prior to start
• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel assignment
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the Med/Surg Tele specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months (charge RN references accepted, coworker references not accepted)

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a passing score required (maximum of 2 attempts)
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
