RN – Neuroscience Unit

About This Role

The RN on the Neuroscience Unit at Marymount Hospital will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with a variety of neuroscience diagnoses. This role is ideal for compassionate caregivers who are dedicated to enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.

• Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour
• Location: Garfield Heights, OH
• Facility: Marymount Hospital
• Department/Unit: Neuroscience Unit
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Will consider licensed military RN experience.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross.
