Security Officer - Unarmed Site Patrol

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location;
Conduct regular and random patrols of corridors, waiting areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, with working conditions that may vary by assignment;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, alarms, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance;
Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, directing foot traffic, and assisting with visitor management according to site procedures;
Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed
