Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Garfield, NJ $70,000 - $85,000

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (weekends as needed)
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced 3rd shift Production Supervisor to lead overnight manufacturing operations. This role oversees a team of approximately 15 employees, including operators, technicians, and production laborers, while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

As the primary leader on 3rd shift, you will operate independently, managing production priorities, staffing, scheduling, and communication across departments. A 2-4 week training period on day shift is required before transitioning to nights.

Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead third-shift production operations and personnel

Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals and expectations

Manage staffing, scheduling, and production priorities

Ensure compliance with quality, safety, productivity, and housekeeping standards

Coordinate annual employee training requirements

Communicate with maintenance to address equipment and production issues

Maintain production records, reports, and shift documentation

Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Qualifications Required Supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

Production manufacturing experience with medium-to-large equipment and machinery

Strong computer and administrative skills

Experience with production planning and scheduling

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred
10+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience leading larger production teams
