Project Lead Fire Alarm Engineer – North of England

Salary:
Up to £46,000 basic
Bonus: 6‑monthly bonuses + opportunity to earn up to £750 per week additional earnings

Our client is a leading fire and life safety specialist and is seeking an experienced Project Lead Fire Alarm Engineer to lead, install, and commission fire alarm systems across the North of England. This is a hands‑on technical role with leadership responsibility, ideal for an experienced fire alarm engineer who can manage installations, oversee commissioning, and act as the technical lead on projects.

Working away from home will be required as part of this role.

• Lead fire alarm installation projects from start to completion
• Install, test, and commission fire alarm systems to the relevant British Standards
• Act as the technical lead on site, supporting engineers and subcontractors
• Ensure systems are handed over fully commissioned and documented
• Work across multiple sites throughout the North of England
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and workmanship

• FIA trained – Levels 1 to 5 (mandatory)
• Proven experience installing and commissioning fire alarm systems
• Strong technical knowledge of BS5839
• Ability to lead projects and work independently
• Willingness to work away from home when required
• Full UK driving licence

• Basic salary up to £46,000 (depending on experience)
