Cash Application Specialist

LHH is partnering with one of our valued clients to find an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience iwith Microsoft Dynamics would be a plus. The role is contract to hire and paying $/hr.

The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing daily accounts receivable functions including payment application, customer account maintenance, and collections. This role requires excellent communication skills, as it involves frequent interaction with the sales team, vendors, and customers.

• Apply daily cash receipts and maintain accurate records
• Administer Lien Notice of Intent processes
• Reconcile and maintain customer accounts
• Perform collection calls and follow-ups
• Generate and send customer statements
• Update and maintain customer records
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Collect and manage sales tax exemption certificates
• Support the Credit Manager with credit reviews and AR tasks
• Assist with billing and accounts payable functions as needed
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting
• Help improve and document internal AR processes

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Credit experience
