Summary
The City of Garland Special Events department is looking for helpers to set up and break down special events.
Work Schedule:
Timing varies based on event.
Pay Range: (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Moving 10 x 10 tents for special events.
- Setting up tables and chairs for events.
- Moving signage and temporary fencing.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferred QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long hours.
- Physically demanding role.
