Summary The City of Garland Special Events department is looking for helpers to set up and break down special events.
Work Schedule:
Timing varies based on event.
Pay Range: (Depending on qualifications and experience)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Moving 10 x 10 tents for special events.
* Setting up tables and chairs for events.
* Moving signage and temporary fencing.
* Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* High School Diploma or G.E.DOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
* Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
* Ability to stand for long hours.
* Physically demanding role.
