Commercial Roofing Superintendent
Location:
Dallas–Fort Worth, TX
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 annually, based on experience
Travel: 30%–100% throughout TX, OK, NM & AR
- Oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple commercial roofing projects.
- Lead and support foremen, field crews, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, deliveries, and project schedules.
- Monitor production, labor hours, material usage, and overall project progress.
- Enforce company safety standards and conduct jobsite safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Perform quality inspections and ensure roofing systems are installed according to manufacturer and project specifications.
- Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and office personnel.
- Maintain accurate daily project reports, job documentation, RFIs, change orders, and project updates.
- Serve as an on-site contact for customers and provide professional project updates.
- Participate in manufacturer inspections and ensure projects meet warranty requirements.
- Identify training needs and mentor field personnel on proper installation, safety, and quality standards.
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience at the Foreman, Superintendent, or similar field leadership level.
- Strong experience with commercial reroofing, recover systems, and full tear-offs
. - Knowledge of TPO, PVC, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and metal roofing systems
. - Experience managing both in-house crews and subcontractors.
- Experience overseeing commercial projects ranging from approximately $10K to $1M
. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Strong understanding of commercial roofing safety and quality-control procedures.
- Ability to identify installation issues, train crews on approved methods, and correct deficiencies in the field.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to climb ladders, access rooftops, and work in active construction environments.
- Flexibility to travel 30%–100% depending on project needs throughout Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas.
$75,000–$90,000 base salary
