Health Care Job Purpose – PRN / Temporary Position

The Registered Dental Assistant at HIRE INTRODUCTION LLC, a temporary staffing solutions agency, plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care across various dental practices. This is a PRN or temporary assignment-based role, not a permanent position.

The RDA supports dentists by assisting with procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized environment, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Candidates must hold a valid Texas Registered Dental Assistant License and demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of patient care, professionalism, and adaptability in diverse practice settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) as directed by the dentist.
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update them with new information as necessary.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize the efficiency of the practice.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
  • Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in the management of dental emergencies and provide CPR/BLS as required.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and external partners, with bilingual skills being a plus.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Registered Dental Assistant License by State
  • Maintain renewal of licensing
  • CPR BLS certification
  • Annual Continuing Education (CE) as required by state
  • Experience:

    1-2 years of experience in a dental setting
  • Skills:

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in dental software and technology
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Preferred

    Skills:

    Bilingual is a plus
