Middle or High School Spanish Teacher

Seeking a dynamic proficiency-based teacher who focuses on students communicating in the language and will grow the World Language program.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Middle School Spanish Teacher at GARLAND ISD, located in Garland, TX. The Spanish Teacher will prepare and deliver engaging lessons, create and implement effective curriculum plans, and foster a positive classroom environment. The teacher will assess student progress, provide feedback, and support students in developing proficiency in Spanish. In addition, responsibilities include participating in school activities and collaborating with colleagues and families to promote student achievement and well-being.

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create engaging and effective educational materials.
• Demonstrated experience in Middle School teaching with a strong ability to adapt methods to various learning styles.
• Strong Communication skills to maintain effective connections with students, colleagues, and caregivers.
• State certification or alternative program acceptance.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and foster an inclusive and culturally respectful environment.
• Experience with integrating technology into instruction is considered an asset.
