Product Quality Improvement Specialist is a highly skilled subject matter expert responsible for supporting the safe and efficient commissioning of new drilling equipment and ensuring the highest standards of product quality. This role involves assisting with the mechanical and electrical setup, calibrating drilling parameters, troubleshooting startup issues, and conducting functional testing to ensure the machinery meets all design specifications and safety standards before full-time operation handover.
This dual role commissioning the drilling equipment, reporting out defects and issues and is involved in analyzing product defects, implementing root cause corrective actions (CAPA), and directly training operators on advanced drilling techniques, tooling, and strict adherence to manufacturing procedures to reduce waste and ensure first-pass approval.
The expectation for this role is to liaison between the PC and the CC. This role would require 50% or more traveling to various customer locations globally and supporting start-ups/commissioning.
