The City of Garland is seeking a dedicated Animal Control Officer responsible for protection against zoonotic diseases and animal bites while enforcing animal ordinances. Responsibilities include investigating nuisances, mediating complaints, and caring for animals in the shelter.
Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of animal control services. Working nights and weekends is required. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
