Caregiver, Home Care, Home Health Aide
This is a full-time, long-term role supporting multiple clients within one premier independent living community — not a one-to-one home care position. If you're an efficient, reliable caregiver who wants steady hours in a single location with a growing client base, this role was built for you.
Com For Care Home Care Dallas-Garland is the preferred home care provider at a premier independent living community in Lake Highlands, and our Shared Care program is growing quickly. As a Shared Care Caregiver, you'll move between multiple clients throughout your shift, completing scheduled care tasks for each — companionship, personal care, mobility support, meals, and household needs — all coordinated through a care app on your smartphone.
WhyThis Role Is Different
- Full-time, consistent hours in one location — no driving between client homes across town
- One-to-many care model — you'll support several clients per shift, so strong time management and efficiency are essential
- All care plans live in an app — you'll check off tasks in real time on your phone, keeping an accurate digital record of every visit
- Room to grow with us — our census at this community is expanding fast, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts when teammates call out
- Weekly pay, paid training, and Caregiver of the Month recognition
- Treated with respect and dignity
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Supported in the field
- National Caregiver of the Year program
- Experience working in an assisted living, independent living, memory care, or skilled nursing facility — or a proven track record of highly efficient, organized caregiving
- Strong time management: you'll be balancing multiple clients and tasks every shift
- A reliable smartphone — care plans and task documentation are completed in our app
- Comfort with technology and accurate, timely digital record-keeping
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Access to reliable transportation
- Must pass a criminal background check and Employee Misconduct Registry/Nurse Aide Registry check as required by Texas HHSC
- Provide care to multiple clients during each shift within one senior living community
- Follow individualized care plans in our mobile app and document each task as completed
- Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
- Handle meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Manage light household needs
- Provide companionship and socialization
- Full-time
- $15.00 – $16.25 per hour
- Opportunities for additional shifts as the program grows
