Network Deployment Project Lead – AWS Infrastructure Services

Key Responsibilities- Initial cabling planning, installation, validation, and quality assessment.
- Engage external contractors and newly onboarded cabling vendors.
- Plan and collaborate with project stakeholders to determine device and cabling requirements, schedule resources, and report status.
- Install, rack, and stack networking devices; run and patch fiber cabling; configure devices using automation tools and command line interface.
- Validate, troubleshoot and stress test devices prior to capacity delivery.
- Travel up to 50%, including local and international assignments throughout AMER.
- 1+ years of computer networking experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in computer networking
- Experience working with Linux operating systems
- Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Knowledge of network design, protocols and troubleshooting
- Can work in cramped spaces or elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies
- Experience working in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment)
