This role is designed for individuals beginning their careers in technology or data center operations, with a focus on learning foundational technical skills, following established procedures, and supporting the reliability of Meta’s global server fleet.

---## Data Center Server Repair Technician Responsibilities
* Basic understanding of computer and network hardware, including cabling (Linux preferred).
* Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions, MOPs, and standard operating procedures.
* Strong attention to detail and reliability in task execution.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Perform routine physical checks of server hardware and assist with guided troubleshooting.
* Follow documented procedures (MOPs) to support server hardware reseats, swaps, and repairs.
* Follow documented troubleshooting procedures, including running CLI commands or other advanced diagnosis, to identify, diagnose and fix basic hardware repairs.
* Assist with ticket resolution by gathering requested information and escalating issues as needed.
* Participate in physical inspections of server hardware in data halls (including serial number and power verification) as directed.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including updates to tickets, checklists and logs.
* Support the team in maintaining server uptime and reliability by responding promptly to assigned tickets.
* Accurately pull and manage inventory (server spare parts) according to established processes and update inventory systems promptly.
