Shift Timings: 8AM - 5PM

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.

* Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk mitigation activities.

* Lead RFQs, negotiations, contracting, and cost-reduction initiatives.

* Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and logistics teams to support sourcing decisions.

* Analyze market trends, supplier capacity, and industry developments.

* Support new product introductions and supplier onboarding activities.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, sustainability requirements, and supplier standards.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable savings.

Knowledge/

Education:

* 5+ years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree mechanical engineering.

* Intermediate Excel experience.

* Demonstrated experience sourcing and managing suppliers of heavy weldments, fabricated assemblies and precision machined components with strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements and supply chain risks.

* Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier management skills.

* Experience with ERP systems and sourcing tools.

* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.

* Ability to manage cross-functional projects in a global environment.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and Abilities:

* Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented approach.

* Legal and contract review skills.

* Strategic sourcing and category planning.
