This position assists the Facilities Manager in the upkeep of equipment and the facility, and any other tasks assigned by the Facilities Manager.

• Ensures the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of the facility
• Maintains clean and hygienic work area
• Inspects all electrical units and systems
• Reports defects, damages, and malfunctions of any kind to the Facilities Manager
• Completes all tasks as assigned by the Facilities Manager
• Maintains an organized and clean work area

• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
• Combination of education and experience

• Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondences, and memos
• Able to write simple correspondences
• Able to communicate effectively one-on-one and in groups with customers and other employees
• Able to perform basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and compute rate ratio, and percentages

• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions
• Understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written and/or oral instructions
• Problem solving

• Capable of using hands
• Standing for long periods of time
• Able to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch for short periods of time
• Able to regularly lift and/or move 25 pounds
• Able to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds
