Summary/ObjectiveUnder limited supervision, the Industrial and Mobile Equipment Mechanic performs skilled work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of mobile and stationary equipment. This role includes troubleshooting, machine setup, repairs, and assistance with oversight of the preventive maintenance program, along with related duties as assigned.
Essential Functions:- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during operations and perform scheduled maintenance during service intervals.
- Perform mechanical work including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair mobile and stationary processing equipment.
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and associated equipment.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records and reports.
- Assist with overseeing and maintaining the Preventive Maintenance Program.
- Comply with OSHA safety and health regulations and all company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Attend all required safety meetings and trainings.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training with exposure to high‑speed or industrial equipment preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in vehicle, construction, or heavy equipment repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Training and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
- Ability to work outdoors and in various climate conditions.
