Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the plant and all machinery/equipment. Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshooting machinery and performing routine preventative maintenance. Reading, interpreting, and following instructions and operation manuals. Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.

• Completing work orders on time.
• Equipment adjustments, repairs, preventative maintenance, and calibrations as needed.
• Using the correct oils, parts, and or chemicals per equipment manual.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and repair schedule is being maintained.
• Ensure an inventory of spare parts for equipment is being maintained.
• The organization and the inventory of the maintenance room
• Maintaining production tools separate from regular tools with signage.
• Completing and keeping up to date the Production Tools Cleaning Log Form FS09
• Performing, completing, and keeping up to date the Preventative Maintenance Schedule of all machines.
• Completing and keeping the Work Order Log up to date.
• Completing and keeping the Tagout/Logout book up to date.
• Keep all equipment manuals organized and available.
• Communication and discuss equipment issues with third party vendors / companies.
• Verify work done by third party vendors and signing
• Keeping up with packing slips of parts order to have ready when invoice arrives.

• Proficient in maintenance and troubleshooting of factory equipment.
• Must be able to work Monday thru Friday, 10am to 7pm
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player

• $30/hour
• Benefits and PTO after 90 days
