Label Specialist
Location:
Garland, TX 75041
Duration: 6 Months Assignment (Temp to Perm)
Shift: 1st, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $14/hr.
Job Description:
Job Summary:
The primary function of the Label Specialist is to support the label generation activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Print sterile and bulk labels.
Print work orders.
Review and archive work orders.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or
Experience:
HS diploma or GED required.
Associate degree preferred.
Previous experience preferred.
Language
Skills:
Must be able to read and write English. Ability to area, and understand general business documents, technical procedures, or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw solid conclusions.
Additional
Skills:
Must be detail oriented and very organized.
Computer
Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office

Physical Demands:
Incumbent will stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch (under 1/3 of time); talk or hear, reach with hands and arms (1/3 to 2/3 of time) sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel (over 2/3 of time).
Lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 10 pounds (under 1/3 of time).
Will use close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); and ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
Work Environment:
Office environment. Moderate noise. Work near moving mechanical parts (under 1/3 of time).
