Now Hiring – Electrical Wiring Technician
Location:
Garland, TX
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour – Weekly Pay
Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Wiring Technician to join a manufacturing team specializing in power distribution and electrical equipment assembly. This position is responsible for wiring, assembling, and inspecting electrical components and assemblies while following blueprints, schematics, and work instructions in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical panels, control cabinets, and power distribution equipment
- Route, terminate, and label wires according to electrical schematics and specifications
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and bills of materials
- Install electrical components including breakers, relays, contractors, switches, and terminal blocks
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Perform continuity checks and basic electrical testing as required
- Troubleshoot wiring and assembly issues during production
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE previous electrical wiring experience
- Experience assembling electrical panels, switch gear, or power distribution equipment preferred
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity with electrical components and wiring practices
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Steel toe boots required
