Description
We are a seeking an experienced assembler and machine operator who has the ability to perform a wide variety of electronic, electro‑mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub‑assemblies.
What you’ll do- Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions in detail, understands and applies established workmanship practices for all facets of satellites, medical, defense/aerospace and high reliability industrial applications.
- Ensure that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
- Operate and set up Manual Wire Bonding equipment to perform thermosonic gold wire and aluminum wire bonding.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates, quality control and process engineers to ensure product meets strict specifications.
- Attentiveness to details and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols are essential.
- Assist with training as required.
- Perform production assembler duties as determined by Supervisor.
- Delicate hand assembly of electronics devices using solder, epoxy, and wire bonding techniques specifically under the microscopes.
- Inspect completed work to quality requirements.
- Possess excellent manual dexterity, manufacturing knowledge. Experience with small parts, small hand tools, equipment, and microscope.
- Ability to read and work from engineer drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
- Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and a strong attention to detail with a strong desire for precision and accuracy when executing job duties.
- Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD control.)
- Must be able to work overtime if required, on short notice.
- High School Diploma and basic computer skills are a necessity.
- A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly, production environment, or cleanroom experience is essential.
