3:00pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $16.00-$25/hr (Depending on Experience)

Looking for motivated individuals with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operation set up experience. Candidate should be familiar with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly, particularly working with SMT equipment such as screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines. An understanding of the SMT Assembly Process is required, which includes identification of SMT component packages. Certification in IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 is a plus.

The role is for a SMT Setup Technician/Operator and requires prior SMT operator experience, knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards, and the ability to set up and operate SMT production lines.

Responsibilities

Perform component feeder operation and setup.

Perform solder paste stencil printing and operation.

Operate reflow oven.

Identify surface mount components.

Load machine programs and make needed adjustments to improve solder paste print and/or component placement on related equipment.

Read and understand assembly (BOM) bill of materials.

Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.

Perform basic machine troubleshooting.

Operate equipment efficiently as measured by daily production requirements.

Verify and meet acceptable quality standards.

Set up, operate, and manage SMT line.

Use knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards to help improve manufacturing process and quality.

Use CIS or CIT / IPC J-STD-001 certification.

Qualifications

Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Prior experience as an SMT operator.
MUST have SMT operator experience.
Knowledge of IPC-A-610 Standards.
Knowledge in Hand Soldering.
Knowledge in SMT Operation.
Knowledge in Electronics Manufacturing.
Knowledge in AOI.
Knowledge in ESD environment.
Able to work on your feet most of the shift.
Able to work M-F 8-hour shift (7 am – 3:30 pm).
