Shape precision at the bench—one joint at a time Regal Staffing Services is hiring multiple specialists to support a high-mix Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) operation in Garland, TX. If you thrive under a microscope and enjoy restoring boards to spec, you’ll feel right at home here.
A day in this role
You’ll settle in at a static-safe workstation, review build or rework instructions, and perform hand soldering and rework on both SMT and through‑hole components—often under magnification. You’ll use precision tools (soldering irons, hot air pencils, desoldering tweezers, flux, wick) and apply IPC workmanship criteria to return every assembly to reliable, repeatable quality. Along the way, you’ll communicate patterns you see—like recurring solder issues—so SMT operators and the team can improve upstream processes.
Compensation, schedule, and location
Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 2nd shift
Location:
Garland, TXWhat you’ll bring2–5 years of hands-on electronic hand soldering and PCBA rework experience
Solid background with SMT and through‑hole components; microscope soldering experience preferred
Working knowledge of IPC J‑STD‑001 and IPC‑A‑610 (current or recent certification strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of electronic components, polarity, and differences between leaded vs. lead‑free processes
Proficiency with precision soldering irons, hot air pencils, desoldering tweezers, flux, and solder wick Meticulous attention to detail and the stamina to focus on fine‑pitch work for extended periods
Clear communication skills to provide feedback to SMT operators on recurring solder trends
You should be proficient inSolderingPCB Assembly (Printed Circuit Board Assembly)
AS9100 Quality Systems Mechanical Assembly Skills
