• 2-7 years of experience (do not need super senior)
• SAP CQP
• ATP (Availability to promise) in quote e.g. how to easily see & include into quote products with certain characteristics that can be delivered within X days
• Quotes for rentals and services - big chunk of their business is not about selling smth - it's about renting equipment or doing services
• cost/ margin control at quote stage
• integration with SAP ECC (for materials, customers and follow up sales docs i.e. contract, sales order, etc.)
• Performance optimization (we need to improve system response time - currently it's too slow)

Additional Details: They intend to convert this person to full-time. This is a high business-impact role supporting sales efficiency and system reliability.

This role will build the technical strategy for the CPQ rebuild, ensuring the platform is built for long term scalability and not just patchwork fixes. Baker Hughes wants someone who can think beyond configuration and bring true architectural leadership.

The architect will work closely with sales operations, product teams, and offshore engineering groups. Strong communication skills and an ability to translate business needs into technical requirements are essential.

The existing quoting system is unstable and slowing down sales processes. They need someone who can troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, improve response times, and rebuild key workflows.

This role is critical as they transition into a new sales management system. The architect will help shape that future state and ensure SAP CPQ integrates cleanly into broader enterprise tools.

This project is receiving attention at the leadership level due to system performance directly affecting revenue operations. Strong accountability and ownership will be important.
