Pay Rate

$16.00-$25/hr (Depending on Experience)

Job Overview

Looking for motivated individuals with Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operation set up experience. Candidate should be familiar with Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assembly particularly working with SMT equipment such as screen printers, pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.

An understanding of the SMT Assembly Process is required, which includes identification of SMT component packages. Certification in IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform component feeder operation and setup.

Operate solder paste stencil printer and perform stencil printing.

Operate reflow oven.

Identify surface‑mount components.

Load machine programs and make necessary adjustments to improve solder paste print and component placement.

Read and understand assembly (BOM) bill of materials.

Maintain good oral and written communication skills.

Perform basic machine troubleshooting.

Operate equipment efficiently to meet daily production requirements.

Verify and meet acceptable quality standards.

Set up, operate and manage SMT line.

Use knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 standards to help improve manufacturing processes and quality.

Apply CIS or CIT/IPC J‑STD‑001 certification knowledge.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Prior experience as an SMT Operator.
Must have SMT operator experience.
Experience with IPC‑A‑610 standards.
Knowledge of hand soldering.
Knowledge of SMT operation.
Knowledge of electronics manufacturing.
Knowledge of AOI.
Knowledge of working in an ESD environment.
Ability to work on your feet most of the shift.
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM).
