Role Overview
Seeking an experienced assembler and machine operator skilled in electronic, electro-mechanical, and mechanical assembly operations on product components, sub-assemblies, or assemblies. The position involves following detailed drawings, procedures, and work instructions, operating bonding equipment for wire bonding, and performing quality checks throughout manufacturing. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, attention to safety, and adherence to quality standards are essential. The role includes delicate hand assembly using solder, epoxy, and wire bonding techniques under microscopes, inspecting work for quality, and assisting with training as needed.
Qualifications & Skills- Excellent manual dexterity and manufacturing knowledge, experience with small parts, tools, and microscopes
- Ability to read engineer drawings, work instructions, and bills of material
- Quality-focused work ethic with precision and accuracy
- Knowledge of FOD control and safety protocols
- High school diploma and basic computer skills required
- 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, or cleanroom experience
- Operate bonding equipment for wire bonding, perform quality inspections, and execute assembly steps
- Follow work instructions and drawings meticulously
- Conduct tests such as Bond Pull, Die Shear, and Sheer Strength
- Collaborate with team members and quality/control engineers
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
- Support training efforts and ensure adherence to high reliability standards
