We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the steel and metal manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery common in this industry and possess strong troubleshooting skills. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes by performing repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Preventive Maintenance:
  Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs on various steel and metal fabrication equipment, including CNC machines, welders, presses, and conveyors, to ensure optimal performance and prevent production disruptions.
• Troubleshooting and Repair:
  Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to production equipment, such as electrical malfunctions, hydraulic and pneumatic system failures, and mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Equipment Installation:
  Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and production lines, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and operating correctly.
• Data Recording:
  Maintain and update maintenance logs and documentation, including work orders, parts inventory, and service history, to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory regulations.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with production teams to coordinate equipment downtime and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize impact on manufacturing operations.
• Safety and Compliance:
  Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Participate in safety audits and contribute to safety training programs.
• Inventory Management:
  Monitor and maintain an inventory of repair parts and supplies necessary for effective maintenance operations, including ordering parts as needed.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of [3-5] years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a steel/metal manufacturing environment or heavy industrial setting.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; experience with PLCs, robotics, and CNC machinery is highly desirable.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and work in diverse conditions.
• Certifications:
  
  Relevant certifications such as OSHA, Electrical, or HVAC certifications are a plus.

Monday-Friday/ 1st: 6AM-6PM 2nd: 6PM-6AM
