ICU RN - Garland, Texas

Experienced intensive care nurses are invited to provide top-level care in a high acuity environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary healthcare team, where critical thinking and compassionate patient care are priorities.

Qualifications &

Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Proficiency in managing critically ill patients, including ventilator management, titrating drips, and responding to emergencies
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:

• Full-time, rotating or set schedule based on unit needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity
• Monitor, assess, and document patients vital signs, responses to treatment, and overall progress
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate advanced life-support equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to implement effective care plans
• Recognize and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
• Educate patients and families about treatments, procedures, and ongoing care during the hospital stay
