Job Summary

Full‑Time Day Shift RN (7:00 AM–7:00 PM, rotating weekends). Provide patient‑centered care, collaborate with providers, and advocate for patients using the "Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage" nursing model.

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
• Perform procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers; ensure thorough documentation in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and respond appropriately to unintended reactions.
• Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical condition, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up, translating complex terminology into understandable language.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Associate's degree acceptable; BSN required within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Texas or a compact license.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience.
