• Assist residents with personal hygiene, including the use of bedpans, urinals, baths, back‑rubs, and grooming tasks.
• Provide support for activities of daily living: meal service, feeding, ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Assist with lifting, positioning, and transportation of residents to beds, chairs, baths, wheelchairs, and appointments.
• Participate in meal service, ensuring residents are positioned correctly, utensils are within reach, and snacks are delivered and documented.
• Maintain knowledge of proper procedures for personal care and follow prescribed policies.
• Prepare equipment and support nurses during examinations and treatments.
• Verify resident check‑ins, answer call lights promptly, and report needs to the supervisor.
• Monitor resident stability: check vital signs, weight, urine; record intake and output.
• Provide comfort and transport residents; respond to call lights and report observations.
• Document actions via forms, logs, and records.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Review care plans regularly and implement changes as directed.
• Participate in nursing reports during shift start and change.
• Prepare and maintain beds, linens, and bathing areas according to infection control guidelines.
• Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions; keep residents dry and clean.
• Maintain the cleanliness of resident units, central bathing area, treatment rooms, and supply areas.
• Provide post‑mortem care as instructed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Valid, good‑standing CNA certification.
• High school graduate preferred.
