Join Our Team as a Production Quality Coordinator at Epiroc!

The Production Quality Coordinator plays a key role in identifying and preventing quality defects while maintaining strict adherence to company safety standards. This position supports the improvement of quality control performance through innovative problem‑solving, automated data collection, and a proactive approach to resolving issues before they impact production. Success in this role includes having - or being eager to develop - strong capability with digital quality tools that enhance product quality, reduce scrap, and contribute to a culture of continuous digital improvement across the production environment.

Shift Timings:
Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 3:30PM

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for internal and external defect detection, identification, classification, and prevention

* Verify product conformances based on visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and performance measurement (such as in process audits, Blue Tag, and Green Tag Audit including recording GiG system)

* Perform all duties related to Quality, including: participation in design reviews, FMEA's, product improvement teams, internal audit teams, or other efforts used to prevent non-conformance or to develop corrective action.

* Function within the guidelines of the latest issue of the Quality Procedure Manual and Work Instructions. Requirements include documentation and recommendation

* Interaction with Supplier Quality group and receiving inspection areas to identify and prevent recurrence of non-conforming material as necessary

* Must understand product requirements (based on customer sales orders), product specifications, and applicable reference standards. Evaluate product requirements and recommend changes when applicable

* Understand reject process

* Complete appropriate paperwork for rejected parts

* Knowledge of the non-conforming parts holding area.

* Follow prescribed safety regulations / guidelines

* Perform other duties as required or directed

* Train manufacturing personnel in assembly and/or weld process

Knowledge/

Education:

* Required to read, write and comprehend English

* Manufacturing process, reject process, rig or product knowledge and audit process, root cause analysis, Quality Management System, and internal audit process.

* HS Diploma or GED required

* The training period for this position: 12 months for total proficiency in tasks.

* Prior Positions/Training:24 months of experience as an Assembler, Welder (as required), and Tester (preferred)
