Quality Technician

Support position with primary responsibilities focused upon development, organization, and maintenance of the document control system and quality reporting system; and the coordination of sample submission activities.

Essential Functions:

• Organize and maintain the document control system.
• Coordinate the development of information supporting production part submission activities.
• Coordinate facility calibration activities and maintain the supporting calibration database.
• Support customer requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist in development and implementation of supporting quality system documentation.
• Assist in processing of Change Request and initiation of system updates and changes, as required.
• Assist in development, organization, and maintenance of the quality reporting system.
• Participate in quality system internal auditor activities.
• Maintain the color chip file.
• Perform and document Color Testing.
• Provide backup, as needed, for Quality Administrator

Other Requirements:

• Associate's degree or 2 years of quality experience.
• Proficient use of personal computers and computer operation within a network environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
• Ability to develop documents such as work and packaging instructions and general quality system docs.
• Perform intermediate math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.
