As a Senior Tester, you will take a leading role in planning and executing validation activities. You will design test strategies, guide junior testers, and ensure thorough system validation across functional and performance areas. You will also play a key role in identifying risks, improving test processes, and ensuring high-quality releases.
Work Type:Onsite Shift Timings:
Monday — Friday; 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Lead validation efforts across multiple systems and environments
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects with detailed analysis
- Guide and mentor junior testers
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine requirements and test coverage
- Perform root cause analysis on complex system issues
- Analyze system behavior and performance under different conditions
- Contribute to process improvements and test strategy development
- Configure, deploy and improve testing infrastructure and environments
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering
or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience) - 5-10 years of experience in software or system testing
- Strong understanding of functional and non-functional testing methods
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
- Experience with testing concepts such as (Black box, white box, load testing, performance, scalability, smoke, integration, regression, hardware / software).
- Experience with performance or scalability testing
- Basic automation or scripting experience
- Experience working with distributed or networked systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling
- Experience mentoring or leading small teams
- Exposure to data analysis or metrics-driven validation
- Experience with tools such as Atlassian Products, JAMA, Visual Studio Code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
