Minda Music School & Store, based in Garland, TX, is a performing arts company specializing in harp sales and rentals, making it the only new pedal harp store in Texas. In addition to offering a wide range of printed music and musical gift items both online and in-store, Minda Music provides quality music education in piano, harp, violin, and theory. The organization is committed to nurturing musical talents and sharing the joy of music with the local community.

This is a part-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager located in Garland, TX. The Assistant Manager will assist with daily operations of the store, including overseeing sales transactions, inventory management, and customer support. Responsibilities include managing harp rentals and sales, assisting with music education programs, coordinating schedules, handling inquiries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the store. Administrative tasks and collaboration with staff will be key components of this role.

• Customer service and communication skills to assist clients and address inquiries effectively.
• Organizational and time management skills for managing scheduling, inventory, and other administrative tasks.
• Sales and retail experience, including knowledge of payment processing and inventory control.
• Passion for the performing arts and familiarity with musical instruments, particularly harps, is a strong advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic administrative tools is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours that accommodate the needs of the school and store.
