Position Summary

As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the club meets the member’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities

    :
    Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources, communicate effectively, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, remain flexible to business needs, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Be an Expert
    :
    Maintain in‑depth knowledge of meat varieties, seasonality, equipment usage and back‑room operations; provide members with properly processed products (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping); ensure compliance with food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
  • Be a Techie
    :
    Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement; utilize handheld technology for real‑time decisions on production, training, and quality; adapt to new tools and encourage adoption.
  • Be an Owner
    :
    Drive business results, commit to operational excellence, plan for profitability, maintain an orderly work area, ensure high‑volume quality for meat products, eliminate waste, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, assist members in purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage.

    :
    Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member experience, modeling high‑quality service and products, executing high standards, interacting with associates to identify roadblocks, and training them to perform assigned duties.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Six months’ experience working in a fresh production department.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a Meat Processing Area.

Additional Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
