POSITION SUMMARY

  • Food service Equipment Sales Executive reporting to the Director – Contract Sales
  • Location:

    Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (remote within the Dallas/FT Worth area)
  • Full‑time, commission‑eligible position
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth by hunting, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities within the food service industry
  • Requires deep understanding of food service equipment, kitchen layout, and operations, and ability to provide expert consultation and tailored solutions to clients
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Provide expert consultation on equipment selection, layout, and functionality
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post‑sale follow‑up
Sales Strategy and Target Achievement
  • Identify and hunt specific segments within the food service industry (e.g., new openings, renovations, expansions)
  • Build relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, and hospitality operators
  • Develop targeted cold‑calling and emailing campaigns
  • Conduct on‑site visits to assess client needs and offer personalized solutions
  • Utilize market research and networking to pursue new business opportunities
  • Maintain an organized and updated sales pipeline
  • Track and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates to management
  • Leverage technology tools to manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions
COMPETENCIES
  • Understanding of features, benefits, and technical specifications of food service equipment
  • Proven ability to identify, hunt, qualify, and close sales with strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • Customer‑focused mindset ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and market conditions
  • Collaborative approach with internal teams to achieve common goals
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Strong understanding of the food service industry, including restaurant operations, kitchen layouts, and equipment functionality
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the food service or related industry
  • Exceptional hunting skills and ability to build rapport with clients for long‑term relationships
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage sales pipelines, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Understanding of technical specifications, blueprints, and installation requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent military or practical experience
  • Successful completion of a background check after offer acceptance

Compensation includes the posted base salary range and does not reflect potential commission, incentive, bonus, or other additional compensation opportunities, where applicable. Total compensation is determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job‑related compensatory factors.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in Tri Mark’s benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
