Security Officer Shipping Center

Allied Universal -  -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.;
Control access at entry points by verifying identification, credentials, and delivery documentation, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs.;
Screen inbound and outbound traffic by coordinating with dock and yard personnel, monitoring gate activity, and reporting suspicious or unauthorized access attempts to help to deter incidents.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting first responder actions as directed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yards, and perimeter, monitoring doors, docks, and restricted areas.
