As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Garland, TX
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Professional at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist customers, employees, and visitors with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, retail location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity involving merchandise, deliveries, and restricted areas; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
• Assist with traffic flow, customer assistance, and incident reporting during peak shopping periods, special events, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
