Electrician [Residential Wireman, Journeyman, Master LICENSED]

Location:

Garland, TX.

We are looking for an experienced electrician specialized in residential work.

(MUST HAVE RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE)

• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance with the State of Texas Building Codes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all electrical codes.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving, and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics.
• Willing to learn our system.

• Must possess a Master, Journeyman, or Wireman license with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.
• 1 year minimum of residential electrical experience required.
• Clean driving record and current valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent work ethic and leadership skills.
• Works well in a team environment.

• Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders, and tunnels.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow, or sleet.
• Must have mental skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures.
• Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints.
• Must be able to complete a Job Physical Assessment.
