As the Stormwater Maintenance Worker, you will repair and maintain the city’s municipal stormwater drainage system; set up proper barricades and traffic control at work sites to warn traffic of hazards. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on various structures such as drainage pipes, headwalls, curb inlets, grate inlets, culverts, flumes, sidewalks, and driveways. Operate trucks (heavy equipment); load, haul, and unload dirt, sand, asphalt, and other materials.
Maintain flow lines in creeks, stormwater channels, clean inlets, and install stormwater pipe. Cut, collect, and dispose of tree limbs, weeds, trash, litter, debris, and bulk items. Sand streets and participate in ice control activities.
