Position Title:

Apartment Make-Ready Technician

Salary: $15/hr

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Apartment Make-Ready Technician to help prepare apartment homes for new residents. This position is responsible for turning vacant units into clean, safe, and move-in-ready homes while working closely with property management and maintenance teams.

• Complete apartment make‑ready turns before resident move‑ins
• Perform basic maintenance repairs including:
  • Painting
  • Drywall repair
  • Light plumbing
  • Minor electrical work
  • Appliance checks
  • Door and lock repairs
• Replace fixtures, blinds, and hardware when needed
• Ensure apartments are clean and meet company standards
• Walk units with management to identify needed repairs
• Remove trash and debris from vacant units
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist maintenance team with additional property needs when required

• Previous apartment make‑ready or maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

This position works on-site at apartment communities and may require indoor and outdoor work in different weather conditions. Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple units at once is important.
